8:30 AM our local guide and driver will pick you up from your hotel in Ha

Giang. Pack your knee/elbow pads and helmet before jumping on board your motorbike -

easy rider. You’ll start by heading over Bac Sum Pass to Heaven’s Gate, where you can

admire the beautiful scenery of the twin mountains and the town of Tam Son (Quan Ba District).

Continuing our trip we head to Yen Minh town for lunch, then drive towards Dong Van, through

the picturesque Tham Ma Pass. You’ll be wowed by the surrounding geo-heritage site

called Dong Van Karst. The landscape comprises endless rice terraces, thousands of

limestone rocks and awe-inspiring views. This is also where you’ll get the first glimpse into the

life of the local hill tribe people as they work on the surrounding land. Next, visit the Hmong King’s

Palace, the one-hundred-year-old palace of Vuong Chinh Duc – the King of the H’mong people.

Arrive in Dong Van homestay for overnight in the late afternoon, enjoy the local dinner and don’t

skip trying the “Happy water” offered by the owner.

After breakfast, we leave Dong Van Town to make our way to the “King” of mountain passes in Vietnam – the Ma Pi Leng Pass. It’s risen to fame because of its abrupt cliffs and breathtaking views with an altitude of 2,000m at its peak! After driving through the pass and occasionally stopping to soak in the best views and snap photos, you’ll have the opportunity to trek/drive on the Sky Path, which offers a 360° panorama of Ma Pi Leng Pass. We’ll continue to drive through the rustic villages of Meo Vac, Mau Due and Lung Ho, where lunch is served. In the afternoon, we pass through the epic mountains to Du Gia rural homestay, located in the middle of green rice fields. Here, you’ll enjoy a massive, home-cooked dinner with your host family and new friends.

Don’t forget to try the “Happy Water” – what the Vietnamese affectionately call rice wine.

On the last day of your journey, be sure to pack your swimsuit as we’ll be stopping at a nearby

waterfall for a refreshing swim. Then, you’ll experience firsthand the art of H’mong textile

making in Lung Tam, a H’mong village where local women work tirelessly to produce textile art pieces. You’ll even have the opportunity to purchase a textile bag or other accessories to

take home with you. Making our way back to Ha Giang, we cross the Sky Gate and head back

through Bac Sum Pass to arrive back in Ha Giang city in the afternoon. Trip ends around

16:00 – 17:00.
