ITINERARY

Day

Ha Giang – Yen Minh – Dong Van

Your tour begins at 8:30 AM with pick-up from your hotel in Ha Giang. Prepare your helmet and protective gear before setting off by motorbike.

Travel over Bac Sum Pass to Heaven’s Gate, with views of the twin mountains and Tam Son. Continue to Yen Minh for lunch, then follow the route through Tham Ma Pass towards Dong Van.

The afternoon takes you through the limestone scenery of the Dong Van Karst Plateau and includes a visit to the Hmong King’s Palace. Arrive in Dong Van in the late afternoon, have dinner and stay overnight at a homestay or hotel.

Day

Dong Van – Ma Pi Leng Pass – Meo Vac

After breakfast, travel to Lung Cu Village near the Chinese border and take in the surrounding valley views. Return to Dong Van for lunch at a local restaurant.

In the afternoon, continue to Ma Pi Leng Pass. Stop along the way for photographs and views of the steep mountain slopes. The itinerary also includes an opportunity to explore the Sky Path for a different perspective on the pass.

Continue through villages towards Meo Vac. Check in at your hotel in the late afternoon and have dinner at a local restaurant.

Day

Meo Vac – Mau Due – Lung Ho - Du Gia Village

After breakfast, leave Meo Vac and follow the route through Mau Due and Lung Ho. This section of the loop passes rocky mountains and valleys, with lunch in Mau Due.

Continue towards Du Gia Village, stopping at two valley viewpoints along the way. Arrive at your homestay in the afternoon, explore the village and take a short ride to the waterfall for a swim.

Return to the homestay for dinner and an overnight stay in Du Gia.

Day

Du Gia – Lung Tam Village – Ha Giang

Visit Lung Tam Village to see Hmong textile making. There is an opportunity to buy locally made textile bags and accessories.

Return towards Ha Giang via Heaven’s Gate and Bac Sum Pass. The tour finishes in Ha Giang at approximately 4:00–5:00 PM.
