Hai Van Pass And Son Tra Penilsula Discovery By Jeep Tour

ITINERARY

Day

01

Hai Van Pass and Son Tra Penilsula Discovery (L)

In the morning, ViTravel’s tour guide and driver pick you up from your hotel in Hoi An (or Da Nang city) and start the day with a drive along the coastline to the beauty spot of the Marble Mountains. Step into temples and pagodas built into the cave and on the mountain. It’s a wonderful view of Da Nang Beach and the city from the top of the mountain. Then continued to visit Son Tra mountain. It’s also known as Monkey Mountain famous for Linh Ung Pagoda. Marvel at the majestic, 219-foot (67-m) statue of Holly Mother. It gazes at the bowl-shaped Da Nang Bay, and ventures to Chessboard Peak to discover the origin of its name.

Next, travel back into Da Nang’s wartime history with a visit to Monkey Mountain Heliport Vestige, a site built by the US Army for tactical access to supplies. Survey the spectacular panorama from the viewing tower. Especially spot the dome of the local radar station utilized by soldiers for communications.

Following a break for lunch at a local restaurant before a short drive further up north to the curvy Hai Van Pass. It’s one of the most beautiful passes in Vietnam. As you navigate curvy roads through thickly forested mountains, look on the glistening East Sea, and pass by a set of bunkers left after the Vietnam War. After descending from the pass, turn inland and soak up the views of villages and rice paddies on the road back to Hoi An.

Tour ends at your hotel around 5.00 PM.

ViTravel goodbye and see you again.
