ViTravel’s guide welcomes you at your hotel in Hoi An and he/she gives you a quick brief before start riding a bicycle to leave your hotel for the journey of Hoi An countryside exploration. Also, this is the chance for you to take photos of the beautiful countryside scenes before arriving to Tra Que herb vegetable village.

Once here, you visit the village, meet and interact with local farmers and then listen to tour guide explaining why it is called an “Organic farm”. You will know how the vegetable is consumed around Hoi An and by local people. Then you will join into farming activities like hoeing soil, using seaweed to be fertilizer and transplanting and watering vegetables, etc.

After these activities, our guide will teach you to collect some vegetables which are used for your cooking class at the family and then return to the local family restaurant.

You have 15 minutes of herb foot massage to refresh yourself before joining the cooking class with instruction by the family’s main cook. You prepare and then cook some dishes after receiving the instruction to know how to cook Vietnamese dishes.

Finally, you taste these dishes as your lunch or dinner with some dishes prepared by the family.

After the meal, we say goodbye to the host family and ride back to your hotel.
