Upon arrival at Tan Son Nhat Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by ViTravel’s tour guide and car driver and then be transferred to the hotel for check-in. Spend the rest of the day at leisure or have your own exploration around your hotel. Later on, you will be escorted out for a welcoming dinner at a very nice and cozy restaurant.

With over 11 million inhabitants and six million motorbikes, Ho Chi Minh is truly a city that never sleeps. Despite its modernity, HCMC maintains a strong link to the past and our guide will walk you on a tour to some of the most historic sites.

Transfer to district 1 to visit some of the beautiful French colonial architectures from the late 19th and early 20th centuries. Appreciate the splendidly restored exteriors of the Saigon Opera House and the Notre Dame Cathedral, a red brick edifice with twin spires constructed from materials imported from France (entrance is only permitted when no services are being performed). Then head across the square to the Central Post Office, completed in 1891. A short drive away is the former Presidential Palace, the headquarters of the Saigon Government during the American War. Continue to the elegant City Hall (the former Hotel de Ville) which is one of Saigon’s most stunning colonial monuments especially when it changes after sunset. Experience Saigon’s famed coffee cultural street while our guide provides insights into the local daily life and culture of Saigoneses. Break for lunch at a local restaurant.

Afternoon, visit the War Remnants Museum for a vivid perspective of the Vietnam War through the eyes of the Vietnamese. (Please note that some of the displays are very graphic.) We then drive to Chinatown to visit the beautiful Thien Hau Pagoda, built by the Cantonese community in the early 19th century to honour the Mazu god - the Goddess of the Sea. Take time to make a wish, write it on a small card and attach it to one of the incense coils according to local custom. Continue your visit to FITO, the first museum of traditional medicine in Vietnam, offering an insightful look into the history and application of traditional medicine in everyday life before returning to your hotel.

After breakfast at the hotel, you are picked up and transferred to a cooking center where you be met and introduced by a professional chef who will teach you how to prepare and cook some very tasty and traditional dishes then you can enjoy your own foods.

Afterwards, Our guide and driver will transfer you to the airport for your next flight.
