"Vietnam's largest island Phu Quoc is an enchanting place of white sand beaches, emerald forests dotted with waterfalls, rock pools and caves," it said.
Vietnam's Phu Quoc (No. 14) has earned it a place on this list thanks to its white-sand beaches and delectable food. The island is renowned for its production of fish sauce and peppercorns, as well as its coral reefs and dense tropical forest.
It advised tourists to buy fish sauce at traditional fishing villages like Ham Ninh, around 14 kilometers from the downtown area, where fresh seafood is also available daily.
Phu Quoc has aviation connectivity with regional tourist destinations like India, making the island one of the new stars of Vietnam's tourism, it said.
